    Do you feel like there are elements to this scenario that you want but must keep to yourself? Do you feel like a common understanding of repressed desire is assumed? Do the marketing people really know what we want, or by subscribing to the idea that they know what we want do we then internalize and perpetuate the narrative they suggest to us as our deepest desires?
