I found that this workshop went a lot smoother because I sat-in on Diana's labs and watched out she taught. That way I wasn't going in cold to my sections - as I always feel like my second lab section gets a better lesson b/c I'm able to revise it a bit.
I do wish that I had smaller class sizes, I have 16 +/- in each. So not everyone had a hands-on experience with the lights, which would have been helpful. Also, I didn't have time to use the light meters.
But for the first section I offered some more time to demonstrate lighting if some students could stay. About 6 students stayed, and we were able to have a more intimate and productive time. However, I couldn't offer the same opportunity to the second section because there is another class right afterward.
