2. Distribute Final Exam Review Sheets (Kelly?) Remind students to come to LECTURE Monday, May 11 with questions for Marty and Kelly. THIS WILL BE THEIR ONLY REVIEW SESSION

- gain should be set to M (L/M/H)
- Explain- Pick up patterns
- Front 90° cardioid,
- Rear 120° cardioid and 360° polar pattern use for ambient
-you can tell which mic is active by looking at the red light on above the numbers…etc
-use the front mic , 90° (not 2 channel)
- Show students how to save materials to specific folders
- YOU MUST SEE TIME CODE TO BE RECORDING! Press rec again.
- levels peak close to zero
-sample rates we should be at 48kHz and 16-bit
use Rec Levels buttons to move thru the menu. Press rec to select
4. ASSIGN PODCAST- assignment in cabinet- Kelly will post questions to wiki
offload via usb onto computer, delete files.

Lab 13 –Edit in Audacity…
Use Audacity to edit podcast…. Remember to have students make copy because Audacity is destructive… Fivel will type up Audacity cheat sheet for TA’s for next week
Will have to convert to Mp3 in Itunes. Kalim will send how to for next week.
